Almost YouTube TV

...and I do almost.

Out of all the live TV service providers available YouTube TV is at the head of the pack when it comes to quality, consistency, and access to local networks.

I can't recall the service ever being plagued with buffering issues which at times can hamper DirectTV Now excellence service.

Another thing YouTube TV brings to the table that DirectTV Now lacks is DVR, and their DVR isn't just some tacked on service it packs a punch.

Record as many shows as you desire for up to nine months plus each YouTube TV membership allows up to six accounts, and each account has its own DVR library.

Now what YouTube TV still lacks is major. No AMC (Walking Dead) and while the show isn't what it once was it is still The Walking Dead. Also no HBO so I guess, “Winter Isn't Coming”...

Rounding out the missing in action is TNT, TBS, NBA Network along MTV and many others.

A lack of channels something DirectTV Now doesn't have is what prevents YouTube TV from being a cord cutters weapon of choice in the battle against cable TV.
