This is madness.

The U.S. government is set to borrow nearly $1 trillion this year, an 84 percent jump from last year...

Funny with all that posturing that came out of the White House no one utter a word about this. Maybe they were too concerned with memos and Jay-Z to focus on this.

Pot shots aside, of course, the deficit is going increase under President Trump a deficit that half of the American public seems to no longer to care about that Barack Obama is no longer president. Also, it is a deficit they didn't care about under President Bush, but they did under Clinton.

See the pattern and that pattern is what's tearing this country apart and will eventually be our downfall. The populace is to busy creating messiahs in one breath while creating anti-messiahs in the next. After all, we can't have one without the other.

So instead of holding our political system accountable for the misdeeds in DC, which by the way would take not only the heart but brains and some emotional grit for their would be a lot soul searching involved. It is easier much to blame the other party (take your pick.)

Then it is even easier to blame the leader of that party which in Obama's case was even easier because he was non-white. If you don't believe that most of criticism hurled at President Obama was because of his the color of his skin, then you can't think that Trump being labeled racist is because he is a Republican. Again, you can't have one without the other.

Eventually, news of the deficit will bubble to the surface, and the anti-Trumpers will blame it on his tax plan without any in-depth research, context and thought.

Of course, the deficit is increasing under President Trump as it did under President Obama and so for forth...

Here's a nugget for you the deficit will also increase under the president following President Trump.

Why? For many reasons. The main one being it costs us more to produce money than its worth. With that fuzzy logic, how can we pay off the debt when it costs us more to produce the money than its value?

However, we can never talk about this because we're too busy crucifying one half of the nation and vice versa.
