The Fall

So many brands but for time's sake and my sanity Apple. 

 As a former Apple head aka an Apple user before iPads/iPhones and before Apple became the calling card of douchery and hype over substance. 

 The Apple tax never bothered me I don't mind paying for something that isn't worth it. The MacBook Pro's fall from grace has been epic. Even with the rise of the Surface line, XPS from Dell and the HP Spectre catching up to the MacBook Pro/Air line in the term of specs, displays, etc. The MacBook Pro still had the best keyboard and touchpad no PC notebook was near them in that department. Apple's response was to mess up the trackpad and keyboard so much so that they have been hit with a class action lawsuit.

Add that to them turning Mac Pro into an oversized Piggy Bank, an iMac that still doesn't have a touchscreen and has anyone seen the Mac Mini?

Despite all that and the fact that their current portable line is equipped with two-year-old hardware, Apple maintains its luster because its fan base refuses to take them to task...No wonder they have yet to improve their current crop of computers.
