Samsung Internet Browser
Browsers in the mobile world mostly stay blood free, unlike their desktop predecessors. Think Chrome vs Firefox sprinkle in Safari and Edge on their perspective platforms and of course Internet Explorer vs the world.
In the mobile world, people have the tendency to go with the default browser of their device and in the world of Android that is Chrome.
Who can blame them, Chrome is a juggernaut. With that said you may want to give the Samsung Internet Browser a try. While Samsung users have known about the browser this year, Samsung finally made the browser available for everyone else.
So what does the Samsung Internet Browser bring to the table?
First up ad blocking. Samsung allows you to choose from a number of ad blocking apps to make your web viewing experience enjoyable.
Speaking of viewing the Samsung Internet Browser has a video assistant that kicks in when you come across an embedded video. The assistant allows you to quickly jump into fullscreen mode or even play the video in a popout player. While Chrome does many things, great handling embedded video isn't one of them.
Speaking of handling this brings another great feature of the Samsung Internet Browser into play, the GUI.
This could be the best feature of Samsung Internet Browser its UI is at the bottom of the browser. You know the part where your fingers are. With the sheer size of the 8+,9+ and the Note 8 not having to reach up to the top of your phone to navigate your browser is a real pleasure.
One more nugget the Samsung Internet browser looks good on the big screen. With the release of the Samsung S8 series Samsung also released Samsung Dex which is a docking station that allows you to connect your Galaxy S8/S8+, Note 8 and S9/S9+ to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse for a desktop experience powered by your phone.
One of the many things I like to talk about is tech. I love reading about it. Watching videos about it and of course reading about it. I want to bring that aspect of my life to this blog.
However, I want to do this my way, and by that, I mean sensible and to the point posts about tech. I like a lot of tech reviewers, yet many of their reviews are too long or contain details that most people don't care about. My thing is, does the product work? How does it perform in the real world? Not praising specs or features that most people will never use.
So I present to you My Tech Briefing where I will try to deliver my tech perspective in the shortest time possible for you to gain an understanding and even better enjoy my spiel. Of course, if you want more or something more in-depth on the subject, I may be happy to oblige.
